Price out for another week
Carey Price was originally ruled out for a single week with a lower body injury.
That week has come and gone, and the most recent development is that he will be out for another week.
Price had reportedly traveled to New York for a second opinion on his lower body injury. The doctor in New York confirmed Price's injury.
Price's injury also will not require any form of surgery.
In his absence, Canadiens goaltender Mike Condon has stepped up into the Canadiens' starting goaltender position. So far this season, Condon is 6-0-1, with a .940 save percentage and a 1.57 goals against average.
Having Price out for two weeks is by no means a good thing. But head coach Michel Therrien doesn't seem to be all that concerned with Price's absence and the severity of the injury itself.
