Red Wings vs. Rangers live stream: Watch online
Here’s all the information you need to watch tonight’s game between the Detroit Red Wings and New York Rangers on NBCSN.
The Detroit Red Wings and New York Rangers are both Original Six teams. They will renew their rivalry tonight when the Red Wings travel to Madison Square Garden to take on the famous blue shirts. It has yet to be confirmed, but since Doc Emrick didn’t do the commentary for last night’s NBCSN game between the Flyers and Blackhawks, it appears he’ll be doing it for tonight’s game.
Detroit enters the matchup looking to get a win after a bit of a slow start. After an 0-2-0 start to their season, they got a 5-1 win against the Ottawa Senators on Monday. They’ll look to carry the momentum over to tonight’s game. Thomas Vanek (three goals and two assists) and Mike Green (three goals and two assists) will look to lead the Red Wings to victory. Meanwhile, second year star Dylan Larkin will look to get something going, as he has just one assist through his first three games this season. Petr Mrazek will most likely start in goal for Detroit.
On the other side of the ice, New York is off to a strong start to their season with a 2-1-0 record. They have wins over the New York Islanders and San Jose Sharks, though they lost to the St. Louis Blues. Chris Kreider leads the team in points so far with six. Mats Zuccarello and Mika Zibanejad are both off to strong starts with four points each.
