Report: Connor McDavid to return to Oilers' lineup Tuesday
It's the news every Edmonton Oilers fan has been waiting months to hear: rookie Connor McDavid will reportedly return to the Oilers' lineup Tuesday for their game against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
McDavid, the No. 1 pick of the 2015 NHL Draft, has been out since Nov. 3 as he recovered from surgery to repair a broken clavicle. He played in 13 games before suffering the injury and recorded 12 points (five goals, seven assists) in that time.
The rookie should receive a warm welcome back from Oilers fans, who flooded social media Monday when news broke of his impending return.
