Richard Panik may have scored the best goal of the season on Wednesday night, and it came at the expense of Evgeni Malkin.

The tally came in the second period of the Blackhawks-Penguins contest in Chicago and featured Panik victimizing Malkin with an incredibly silky move that is well worth your appreciation.

As Panik saw Malkin closing on him in the offensive zone, the Blackhawks winger pulled a slick move by playing the puck off his own skate to go around the Pens defender. After sending Malkin into the spin cycle, Panik quickly set himself up for the shot and unleashed a wicked wrister top shelf past Marc-Andre Fleury between the pipes.

Thus, a nearly flawless goal was born. Make sure to save the tape for the end of season highlight shows.
