Buffalo has understandably been struggling this season with star center Jack Eichel and forward Evander Kane out due to injuries. However, they’ve been barely able to tread water as of late. Their 23 goals are the fifth fewest in the NHL while their 24 goals allowed are the sixth fewest. Buffalo looks to improve on their 3-1-2 record away from home.
Meanwhile, Ottawa will enter Saturday’s matchup with a three game winning streak. In their last game on Thursday, they beat the Vancouver Canucks 1-0. During the streak, they have also beaten the Edmonton Oilers and Carolina Hurricanes. The Flyers have scored 28 goals this season, 19th in the NHL, and their 26 goals allowed are the eighth fewest.
