The force awakens in Sharks forward Matt Nieto's newest toy
The Sharks already have slick jerseys, but if they're looking to switch things up a little, it seems like Matt Nieto might have a suggestion for how to outfit the team.
The forward found a way to combine both his passion for hockey and his passion for Star Wars with this custom piece from Factory Xtreme, a collectibles shop in San Diego.

The Factory Xtreme website says the company makes 31-inch Clonetroopers similar to what they made for Nieto, and designs on their website show figurines for other teams and other sports, including a San Francisco 49ers Clonetrooper, a New England Patriots Clonetrooper and a San Diego Padres Clonetrooper.
It's not hockey, of course, if a teammate doesn't get a little ribbing in, and Brent Burns decided to weigh in on Nieto's interesting purchase.

Looks like the Sharks might hit the theaters in December when the next Star Wars movie, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, hits the big-screen.
