The NHL's best Halloween couples costumes: the Oshies, Letangs and ... Wilson-Latta?
Halloween isn't until Saturday, but many NHL teams and players are getting a head-start with early celebrations. The Capitals, Penguins and Stars are among the teams who were donning costumes early, and parties saw plenty of couples costumes.
Disney is always a decent theme idea for a costume, and newlyweds T.J. and Lauren Oshie offered a creative spin on a 101 Dalmatians costume.
Then there were the Letangs, who also chose to go the movie route but stepped away from Disney as they tried their hand at Tim Burton's Corpse Bride.
It looks like Steve Ott and his wife, Erica, are comic book fans. They put their own spin on Harley Quinn and the Joker from the upcoming Suicide Squad movie.
Couples costumes don't always require the presence of someone's real-life significant other. Brooks Laich chose to partner with teammate Andre Burakovsky instead of fiancee Julianne Hough to go the classic Toy Story route.
There was room for three at the Stars' party, as Jason Demers, Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn teamed up as the three blind mice.

And of course, no couples costumes list would be complete without a mention of one of the greatest bromances in the league: Tom Wilson and Michael Latta. The roommates went with homemade Cast Away outfits, and Wilson was perfect as "Wilson" from the movie.
