Spacek also played the rest of the season with the Manitoba Moose, the Jets AHL affiliate where he put up one assist in four games. Also in 120 games with Red Deer of the WHL, Spacek put up a total of 139 points. He also appeared in the World Juniors last year for the Czech's putting up three points in five games.

He's the fifth of the Jets' eight selections from the 2015 NHL Draft to sign an NHL entry-level contract, joining defenseman Sami Niku and forwards Kyle Connor, Jack Roslovic and Jansen Harkins.

Spacek has the durability to play either wing or center which is perfect for the Jets since they are building through the draft in which they have seen some instant success, look at Patrik Laine for example. He's still a rather small guy at 5'11" and 190 pounds, but due to his tremendous speed and scoring ability that won't be much of an issue in the pro game. The Manitoba Moose are definitely going to be an exciting team to watch next season.
