Tina Hermann wins skeleton race in 1-2 German finish

WINTERBERG, Germany (AP) Tina Hermann won her first skeleton World Cup and led a 1-2 finish for Germany on Friday.
World championship silver medalist Jacqueline Loelling was .40 seconds behind in second place.
Jane Channell of Canada was third, .88 seconds off the pace.
Laura Deas of Britain, winner of the opening race of the World Cup series one week ago, finished fourth, 1.09 seconds behind.

Hermann leads the overall standings with 435 points. Deas is second at 417.
