The sport of boxing is in good hands for years to come, especially if you watch this 7-year-old prodigy named Nijee 'The Future', who first burst on the scene after a video of him hitting pads went viral over a year ago.

Nijee just turned 7 last week, but he was ready for his first sparring session as he took on a sparring partner who was two years older than him.

The fast hands are unmistakable as Nijee puts together a couple blistering combinations before dropping his opponent with a stiff jab at the end of the session.

Did we mention the kid just turned 7 years old last week?

Nijee has been training with his dad for several years already, and he's caught the attention of more than a few famous faces in the boxing world as he continues to progress and prepare for the future.

Floyd Mayweather may be retired but if boxing is looking for its next superstar, this grade-school champ might be the best hope out there.
