An October to remember for Wild
Maybe the Minnesota Wild can call this October 32nd.
With the month changing to November, the Wild certainly would like to keep up their play from October, which was one of the best in franchise history.

It isn't just team play, either.
Ryan Suter had 10 points in October, tying his mark set last season for most points by a Wild defenseman in October. No one else has more than eight.
And speaking of defense, the Wild carry a number of streaks into November:
-- Three straight shutouts and no goals allowed overall in the last 181:43.
-- Stopped 94 straight opponent shots.
-- Killed 13 straight power plays and 25 of 26 overall, to lead the NHL with a 96.2 percent kill percentage.
Buffalo has been solid on defense recently as well, killing all 10 penalties and stopping 70 of 71 shots in its last two games.
However, if the game is tight, keep in mind the Sabres have given up 11 goals in the third period, tied for sixth most in the NHL.
