Kole Calhoun is going under the knife.
The Angels right fielder will undergo surgery for a bilateral core muscle injury. Estimated time of recovery is said to be 6-8 weeks, according to a team release on Tuesday.
Calhoun, however, is expected to have no limitations in 2017 Spring Training in Arizona.

During the 2016 season ... his third full year with the Angels ... Calhoun hit .271 with 18 home runs and 75 RBIs.
