Angels, Red Sox Twitter accounts spend rain delay playing tic-tac-toe
My dad was of the firm belief that baseball games were meant to be played outside. He never took to the modern indoor stadiums, retractable roof or not.
Naturally, I tend to agree with the man that taught me the finer aspects of America's pastime, but from time to time you're going to have a game delayed or canceled due to the elements. Down 5-1 to the Red Sox at Fenway, a CJ Cron grand slam had just brought the Angels to within one run in the top of the sixth inning.
Then, the rains came.
The tarp was drawn and both teams found themselves in the dreaded early summer rain delay. But the Twitter accounts of both teams didn't let a little rain damper their spirits completely, as the Angels challenged their digital counterpart to a game of tic-tac-toe:
Hey @Angels, remember our last rain delay together? ? pic.twitter.com/eUhZVYsOC6

Ruthless there by the Angels. The Red Sox really should have seen that coming.
