If you told me Chris Paul was hanging out with Pau Gasol, LL Cool J and Channing Tatum, I might shrug. They're famous. And that's what famous people do, they hang out with other famous people, right? But if you told me Chris Paul, Pau Gasol, LL Cool J and Channing Tatum were all taking a course together at Harvard.... well, now you got my attention.
On Friday, Paul posted this picture to his Instragram account showing the NBA All-Star seated between the aforementioned celebrities in a Harvard Business School lecture hall:
According to Boston.com, the four were at Harvard to take a four-day Business of Media, Entertainment and Sports program from Professor Anita Elberse. Attended by the likes of Dwayne Wade and Brandon Marshall in the past, the course's focus is on "strategies for launching creative products and managing talent by evaluating case studies and learning from the perspectives of industry superstars, and mid- to senior-level executives who work for studios, networks, music companies, or sports leagues"
Off the court, Paul has shown he has entrepreneurial and executive interests. Paul owns a team in the Professional Bowlers Association League, while he also serves as president of the National Basketball Players Association. So it makes sense he would be one of the celebrities in attendance at the course.
Just goes to show you, it's never too late to go back to school.
