Badgers predictions: Game 4 vs. Hawaii

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 1:59 p.m. ET

Wisconsin continues its climb up the top 25 but its JV nonconference home schedule isn't helping isn't necessarily helping pile up the predictions -- or much of a variety.

Even Thursday's news about Corey Clement doubtfully would change things. While Clement said the plan was for him to play, I'm not too sure how many people thought that would happen heading into this week.

So, where we stand is having some not-so-surprising picks for the 22nd-ranked Badgers game against Hawaii this Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium. But, hey, we do have some different takes on what the final score will be!

With that being said, here are this week's predictions from around the web and Twitter:

The Associated Press' Ralph D. Russo: Wisconsin 38, Hawaii 10.

All three Big Ten Network analysts are picking Wisconsin to win. The scores: Tom Dienhart 44-14; Sean Merriman 55-14; Brent Yarina 38-7.

The Athlon Sports analysts have stopped picking scores, but all four think Wisconsin will win.

Whatifsports.com simulation: An average score of Wisconsin 30.2, Hawaii 25.2. The sim gives the Badgers a 67.3 percent chance of winning.

The Oklahoman's Berry Tramel: Wisconsin 39, Hawaii 16.

Pete Fiutak of Collegefootballnews.com: Wisconsin 37, Hawaii 10. "Wisconsin will put this away after two drives. This isn't the miserable Hawaii team of the past few seasons, but it's not going to have the firepower on offense to do much against a rock-solid Bucky D."

All seven CBSSports.com analysts are picking Wisconsin to win and all seven also think the Badgers will cover a 24.5-point spread.

The Sports Xchange has it Wisconsin 38, Hawaii 10.

No surprise that all six ESPN.com Big Ten contributors picked Wisconsin to win.

By way of the PickCenter, Teamrankings.com has an average score of Wisconsin 37.4, Hawaii 13.4 while numberFire has the average score Wisconsin 34.7, Hawaii 10.7 (and also gives the Badgers a 53.6% likelihood of covering a 24.5-point spread).

The Cedar Rapids Gazette's Mike Hlas is taking Wisconsin and 24.5 points, so, yeah he thinks the Badgers will win.

Guess what? Yup, all seven analysts at USAToday.com pick Wisconsin to win.

Yahoo.com's Pat Forde and Graham Watson pick Wisconsin to win.
