Bayern Munich hosts Paris train hero
Alek Skarlatos, the Army National Guard infantryman from Oregon who helped subdue a would-be terrorist on a Paris-bound train last week, received a medal for his heroism from the French government. And on Wednesday, he received another honor: Skarlatos was a special guest at a practice for his favorite soccer team.
After Skarlatos was photographed holding his medal and wearing a Bayern Munich jersey, the club invited him to Germany to meet the team, including top striker Thomas Muller.

What's more, there are rumors that fellow hero and avowed Lakers fan Anthony Sadler will also get special treatment from his favorite NBA team in Los Angeles.
