Baylor quarterbacks still excited about 2016 season
Baylor fans wonder what the future holds for their football program.
Sophomore quarterback Jarrett Stidham has no worries.
With all the chaos that continues in Waco after head coach Art Briles was fired last week, Stidham posted on Instagram that he's still excited about the upcoming season.
Stidham was a five-star prospect out of Stephenville, Texas. He played in 10 games last season, passing for 1,265 yards and 12 touchdowns before suffering a season-ending ankle injury in late November against Oklahoma State.
Baylor's senior quarterback Seth Russell is also looking forward to "proving all of the doubters wrong" in 2016.
It was announced on Monday that Jim Grobe will take over as head coach.
In addition to Briles' departure, Baylor athletic director Ian McCaw resigned this week. More coaching staff changes are possible in the coming months.
