Blake Griffin to miss Clippers' road trip due to injury
The Clippers found a bit of coal at the bottom of their stocking despite an otherwise successful Christmas.
Forward Blake Griffin has a partially torn quadriceps tendon, the team announced after the player had an MRI on Saturday. He'll miss the Clippers' four-game road trip starting tonight in Utah and will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
With Griffin out indefinitely, the Clips will have to lean heavily on the small-big partnership of Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan.
The big man also recently teamed up with Paul in the 'Meet the Hoopers' State Farm commerical debuting on Christmas Day. Might we see a real life Hoopers' dad-mom partnership going forward for the Clippers this season?
