ST. LOUIS -- Thankfully for the Blues, who need all the talented centers they can get, Paul Stastny's stint on injured reserve lasted just one game. The team activated him Wednesday.
Stastny suffered an upper-body injury in the Blues' win in Dallas on Dec. 20. He then sat out their loss at Tampa Bay two days later.
The Blues haven't played since, giving Stastny time to heal. He was deemed ready to go at practice Tuesday and will be active when the Blues host the Flyers on Wednesday night.
Stastny, 31, has 17 points (seven goals, 10 assists) in 34 games this season.
