Blues and FOX Sports Midwest announce 2016-17 TV schedule
The St. Louis Blues and FOX Sports Midwest announced today the club's 2016-17 regular-season television schedule. All 82 Blues games will be televised for the sixth straight season, with 71 games on FOX Sports Midwest and 11 on national TV. And beginning this season, FOX Sports Midwest's Blues telecasts will be streamed locally on FOX Sports GO.
Fans will be able to stream Blues games wherever they are, on various devices, as part of a multiyear agreement for live local streaming announced in July by the NHL and FOX Sports Regional Networks. Blues games televised on FOX Sports Midwest will be available for streaming on the FOX Sports GO app and at FOXSportsGO.com to customers of participating pay-TV providers who receive FOX Sports Midwest as part of their video subscription. FOX Sports Midwest, in its 21st season as the Blues' flagship television partner, will carry 71 regular-season games, starting with the home opener vs. Minnesota on Thursday, Oct. 13. Blues games on FOX Sports Midwest are preceded and followed by Blues Live, the network's in-depth pregame and postgame show. John Kelly (play-by-play) and Darren Pang (analyst) call the action, with Bernie Federko as pregame, postgame and intermission analyst. Scott Warmann and Jim Hayes handle hosting duties, with reporting from Andy Strickland.
As previously announced, the Blues will make 11 national TV appearances on NBC Sports Network and NBC.
