The St. Louis Blues continue to pare their roster to reach the regular-season limit of 23 players. They assigned two more players -- forward Jordan Caron and goaltender Pheonix Copley -- to the Chicago Wolves, their American Hockey League affiliate, on Friday, leaving 27 active players in training camp.

The Blues wrapped up their 2015 preseason slate with a 5-2 win over Chicago on Thursday night. They now head to Ann Arbor, Michigan, for a four-day team-building trip before opening the 2015-16 regular season on Thursday, Oct. 8, at home against the Edmonton Oilers.
