Petteri Lindbohm has rejoined the Blues to provide defensive depth as Carl Gunnarsson and Robert Bortuzzo deal with injuries.

ST. LOUIS -- With Carl Gunnarsson having missed the past two games due to a lower-body injury and Robert Bortuzzo's status uncertain after he suffered an upper-body injury in Friday night's shootout loss to the Colorado Avalanche, the St. Louis Blues are running a bit short on defensive depth. To provide protection in case Gunnarsson and Bortuzzo are unavailable for Sunday afternoon's game against the Nashville Predators, the Blues recalled defenseman Petteri Lindbohm from the AHL Chicago Wolves under emergency conditions on Saturday morning.

The 23-year-old Lindbohm has appeared in 47 games for the Wolves this season, posting 15 points (seven goals, eight assists) and 52 penalty minutes.  In addition, the 6-foot-3, 212-pound defenseman has played in five games for the Blues, serving four penalty minutes.

Overall, the Helsinki, Finland, native has dressed in 38 career NHL regular season games, logging three points (two goals, one assist) and 37 penalty minutes.  Lindbohm was originally drafted by the Blues in the sixth round (176th overall) of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
