Blues send Chris Butler back to Chicago

ST. LOUIS -- After being a healthy scratch during his one-game return to the NHL, defenseman Chris Butler has been returned to the Blues' AHL affiliate, the Chicago Wolves.

The Wolves' captain this season, Butler, 30, has one goal and one assist in 11 games with Chicago.  The 6-foot-1, 200-pound defenseman has appeared in 387 career NHL regular-season games, accumulating 84 points (13 goals, 71 assists) and 185 penalty minutes. The St. Louis native has played in 38 regular-season games with the Blues, logging nine points (three goals, six assists) and 27 penalty minutes.
