Blues sign forward Pat Cannone to a one-year, two-way contract

St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has signed forward Pat Cannone to a one-year, two-way contract.

Cannone, 28, appeared in 64 regular-season games for the Blues' American Hockey League affiliate, the Chicago Wolves, last season, ranking second on the club with 47 points, including a team-best 33 assists. In addition, the 5-foot-11, 192-pound forward logged six assists in five postseason outings.

Overall, the Bayport, New York, native has spent the past five seasons in the AHL, including stints with Chicago and Binghamton, accumulating 154 points (60 goals, 91 assists) in 275 regular-season games. Cannone has also totaled eight assists in 17 AHL playoff games.
