Blues sign free-agent Michigan forward to two-year deal

ST. LOUIS -- The St. Louis Blues announced Monday the club has signed forward Justin Selman, a free agent out of the University of Michigan, to a two-year, entry-level contract.

Selman will be assigned to the Blues' American Hockey League affiliate, the Chicago Wolves.

Selman (6-foot, 198 pounds), 22, has spent the past four seasons at Michigan. In 2015-16, he dressed in 38 games, ranking sixth on the club with 31 points (13 goals, 18 assists).

Selman, a native of Upper Saddle River, New Jersey, accumulated 67 points (29 goals, 38 assists) and 50 penalty minutes in 113 collegiate games.
