Coming off a week in which he recorded points in all four games the St. Louis Blues played, forward Vladimir Tarasenko was named the NHL's Third Star for the week ending Oct. 18.

Montreal goaltender Carey Price was named First Star, and Dallas forward Tyler Seguin was named Second Star.

Tarasenko had an assist in a 4-3 win at Calgary, a goal in a 4-2 win at Edmonton, two assists in a 4-3 win at Vancouver, and his 10th career multi-goal game -- including the game-winner -- in a 4-2 win at Winnipeg.

Tarasenko tied for fourth among all skaters with six points overall last week, while his +6 rating was tied for the NHL lead.

Tarasenko's season-long, six-game point streak is tied for the longest active stretch in the NHL (Blake Wheeler), while he currently shares the league lead with five goals (Jamie Benn, Zach Parise, Tomas Plekanec) and nine points overall (David Krejci, Henrik Zetterberg).
