The Milwaukee Brewers on Friday reinstated outfielder Domingo Santana from the 15-day disabled list and optioned Keon Broxton to Triple-A Colorado Springs.

Santana has been on the disabled list since May 19th with a right shoulder strain. The 23-year-old is batting .239 this season (27-for-113) with three home runs and 12 RBI while hitting leadoff in 25 games.

Broxton is the Brewers outfielder who has a minor-league option remaining. He has appeared in 10 games since Milwaukee recalled him on May 20, going 4-for-22 with four runs. The stint has included his first major-league hit, a bunt single on May 25 at Atlanta.

The 26-year-old began the season with the Brewers but was demoted after going 0-for-16 with 11 strikeouts. He's hitting .105 in 38 major-league at-bats this season but .301 (31-for-103) in Triple-A.
