Brock Lesnar is selling his home and it looks about how you'd expect
Brock Lesnar's house is up for sale and it's a lot like him -- massive and not too flashy.
The former UFC heavyweight champion is a simple guy and there aren't many bells and whistles here in this four-bedroom, 3.5-bath home in Independence, Minn. But it is 3,247 square feet and sitting on 43 acres of land. Lesnar, who bought the house in 2003 for $783,500 per City Pages, is asking for $799,000, which is hardly an astronomical figure for a guy who has made millions in the UFC and WWE.
The Realtor.com ad says the house is "secluded," which is basically the way Lesnar likes to live. This is the same guy who hated doing media and had to be cajoled by UFC president Dana White to coach on "The Ultimate Fighter."
Lesnar, 36, left the UFC in 2011 after an historic run, title reign and two separate bouts with diverticulitis. At his peak, he was the biggest pay-per-view draw in company history. But Lesnar was never the same as a competitor after suffering with the disease the first time and ended up returning to the WWE, where he initially made his name.
There were rumors over the winter, only furthered by White, that Lesnar was interested in making a UFC comeback, because he felt like he had unfinished business. But those have since been put to rest, which is a shame. Lesnar has that crossover appeal that no one in the UFC has right now with the exception of Ronda Rousey.
He's doing just fine, though. Lesnar just broke The Undertaker's 21-match winning streak at Wrestlemania in April and he's making serious bank despite only working a few months out of the year with WWE. That's way better than getting smashed in the face by Cain Velasquez.
