Brothers on opposite sidelines in Oklahoma-Tulsa game

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 10:50 p.m. ET

Oklahoma's Dominique Alexander won't go up against his brother Derrick this weekend in Norman when Tulsa comes to town to face the Sooners.

Well, not exactly.

The two brothers, from Tulsa, won't be on the field at the same time, but that doesn't meant they aren't going head-to-head.

Junior Dominique Alexader, the Sooners linebacker, was a second team All-Big 12 pick last year after recording 107 tackles. Tulsa's Alexander, a senior defensive end, was also a second team All-American Conference pick last year when he had 7.5 sacks.

The brothers played together at Booker T. Washington High in Tulsa.

Kickoff between the two 2-0 teams in Norman is at 11 a.m. Saturday.
