'Bryzzo': Chicago Cubs young guns Kris Bryant, Anthony Rizzo certify BFF joint name
The Chicago Cubs' corner infield combo of 23-year-old third basemen Kris Bryant and 26-year-old first baseman Anthony Rizzo should serve as franchise cornerstones for many seasons to come.
It's a great thing that they seem to genuinely love each other, too. So much so that they now have one of those grocery checkout tabloid magazine mash-up nicknames for easy reference, like Bennifer and Brangelina.
But apparently Bryant, the unanimous 2015 NL Rookie of the Year, warmed to the nickname, or at least learned of it a bit sooner. Here's how that unfolded:
