Bucks exercise contract options on Carter-Williams, three others
MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Bucks have exercised third-year contract options on forward Jabari Parker and guard Tyler Ennis and fourth-year options on guard Michael Carter-Williams and forward Giannis Antetokounmpo.
General manager John Hammond announced the moves Monday, two days before the Bucks open the season at home against New York.
The 24-year-old Carter-Williams averaged 14.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 6.7 assists, 1.7 steals and 32.6 minutes in 66 games last season for Philadelphia and Milwaukee. He was the 2013-14 NBA Rookie of the Year with the 76ers.
The 20-year-old Parker, returning from a left knee injury, averaged 12.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and 29.5 minutes in 25 games last season.
The 20-year-old Antetokounmpo averaged 12.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 31.4 minutes in 81 games last season. The 21-year-old Ennis split last season with Phoenix and Milwaukee, averaging 3.7 points, 2.2 assists and 12.5 minutes in 33 games.
