Cam Newton says he's not perfect in Instagram post thanking fans for support

After his controversial week, Cam Newton reached out to fans via Instagram Friday morning.
The Panthers quarterback, who played poorly in Super Bowl 50 and then angered many people by walking out of his postgame press conference after giving non-answers, said he was not perfect, but will continue to work on improving in the long and hard-to-read message filled with odd spelling, punctuation and characters.
Newton, though, made sure to emphasize that he will not change who he is for the media by closing out the post with the hashtags, "#dontBEaPUPPET" and "#stayTRÜtoÜ."
