Cardinals' Fitzgerald becomes youngest receiver with 1,000 catches
Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald hit a pair of milestones during Arizona's 27-3 win over the Rams on Sunday, becoming the youngest player in league history with 1,000 career receptions and getting his seventh 1,000-yard season.
The 32-year-old Fitzgerald became the 11th player to reach 1,000, hauling in eight catches for 55 yards to tie Hines Ward at 1,000 for No. 10 on the all-time list.

Andre Johnson of the Indianapolis Colts previously held the record of youngest to 1,000 receptions at 33 years, 163 days. Fitzgerald eclipsed the mark at 32 years, 97 days.
Fitzgerald also went over 1,000 yards in a season for the seventh time in his career -- and first since 2011. It marked the fifth consecutive game in which Fitzgerald had at least eight receptions, matching the longest streak of his career.
