Carmelo Anthony blasts NBA for dissing Knicks on Christmas Day
Carmelo Anthony must have completely forgotten that the Knicks were 17-65 last year.
The New York forward went off on the NBA Wednesday for not scheduling the Knicks on Christmas Day this season.
When asked if he'd be watching the slate of games on Friday, Anthony reportedly told the New York Post, "I ain't watching nothing. We should've been on Christmas. Christmas in New York. That's what it should've been.''
You'd think Anthony might be happy having a holiday off, but that is apparently not the case.
"Of course we want to play on Christmas,'' he said. "I love that. That's showtime, especially in New York. But we'll get our shot at it. They'll come back to us."
Anthony then went back off the rails, saying to the Post, "I don't know what they were looking at. The past is the past. But New York is one of those teams that should always be on Christmas.''
