Cavs announce 2016 preseason schedule

CLEVELAND - The 2016 NBA Champion Cleveland Cavaliers will begin their 2016-17 season preparation with six preseason games, beginning October 5th. The slate of games will feature three home contests at Quicken Loans Arena, two games on the road vs. Atlanta and Chicago, and a game in Columbus, Ohio.

Fans across Northeast Ohio can catch the Cavs at The Q on Wednesday, October 5th vs. the Orlando Magic, Saturday, October 8th vs. the Philadelphia 76ers and Thursday, October 13th vs. the Toronto Raptors.
The Cavs will also play a “home” game in Columbus, Ohio, taking on the Washington Wizards on Tuesday, October 18th at Value City Arena at The Jerome Schottenstein Center on the campus of The Ohio State University.
All Cavs preseason games will be broadcast on FOX Sports Ohio, with the exception of the October 13th home game against Toronto, which will air nationally on TNT. All games will be carried on the Cavs flagship radio station, WTAM 1100 AM, La Mega 87.7 FM (in Spanish) and across the Cavaliers Radio Network.

Monday, October 10th at Atlanta (game time is still TBD) at Philips Arena

Thursday, October 13th vs. Toronto at 8:00 p.m. at Quicken Loans Arena

Friday, October 14th at Chicago at 8:00 p.m. at United Center

Tuesday, October 18th vs. Washington at 7:00 p.m. in Value City Arena at The Jerome Schottenstein Center - Columbus, OH
