Chargers QB Philip Rivers named AFC Offensive Player of the Week after final game of 2017 season

Chargers QB Philip Rivers wrapped up his 2017 season with a weekly honor.
Rivers was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced on Wednesday. The accolade is the ninth weekly of his career and his second of the season.
Rivers passed for 387 yards and three touchdowns in a 30-10 win vs. the Raiders on New Year's Eve.
Rivers finished the season second in the NFL in passing yards with 4,515. During the Raiders win, he became the ninth quarterback in NFL history to surpass 50,000 yards. The signal-caller finished with a season rating of 96.0, his best effort since 2013.
