"I'm thinking of doing something crazy!!!" San Diego Chargers free safety Eric Weddle warned late Monday night before shaving off his trademark beard.

And then the 31-year-old went after it, posting progress pictures during the cut as he transformed from the Weddle as we knew him to a dapper young surf shop owner.
