Chargers vs Broncos Storylines
SAN DIEGO -- Two very different teams in two very different situations matchup tonight at Qualcomm Stadium as the San Diego Chargers (1-4) host the defending Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos (4-1) in Thursday Night Football.
The Chargers meanwhile, are just trying to hit the win column after a series of head-scratching losses. Losses so puzzling it led to this game preview from Garbage Time:
Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reported Sunday morning that Mike McCoy could be coaching for his job this week, but GM Tom Telesco said Thursday morning that he backs the whole coaching staff.

Also worth watching on Thursday night will be rookie defensive end Joey Bosa, who will be playing in just his second game this season. Bosa made the first appearance of his NFL career on Sunday against the Raiders and was impressive with four solo tackles and two sacks.

The Broncos are currently tied with the Raiders at 4-1 atop the AFC West, and while the Chargers rank last at 1-4, a win Thursday night in this still young season keeps them in the conversation as a competitor in the division.
