Chris Paul, Blake Griffin in top 50 of Forbes 100 Highest-Paid Athletes list
Just in case you were wondering, it still pays to be a superstar athlete - pun intended.
Forbes released its annual list of the World's Highest-Paid Athletes tabbing LA Clippers Chris Paul and Blake Griffin as Nos. 37 and 49, repectively, on the list of 100 athletes. According to Forbes, the two All-Stars earned a combined $56.1 million between their player contracts and endorsement deals over the course of the year.
Paul, who was No. 37 in Forbes' 2015 list as well, was the eighth-highest NBA player on the list, while Griffin, dropping three spots from No. 46 in 2015, was the 11th highest of the NBA players on the list.
Lebron James, Kevin Durant and Kobe Bryant all ranked in the list's top 10. James took the honor of the highest-paid NBA player with $77.2 million earned.
