Complete 2012 SEC Football Schedule
The SEC officially announced its conference slate for 2012 today, but it did not include all 14 teams non-conference slates. So I hopped around the web and pieced them all together.
Now I'm going to give you fearless over/under predictions on wins and rank the teams.
But first, I want you to see Kevin Sumlin of Texas A&M break down the Aggie schdule via video.
Yep, this has to be an SEC first, the head coach announces the schedule on video.
And, honestly, I'm kind of pumped about A&M's schedule after watching this thing.
Non-Conference Opponents: Clemson, ULM, New Mexico State, Alabama A&M
Sept. 1: BOWLING GREEN
Sept. 8: at Texas A&M
Sept. 15: at Tennessee
Sept. 22: KENTUCKY
Oct. 6: LSU
Oct. 13: at Vanderbilt
Oct. 20: SOUTH CAROLINA
Oct. 27: vs. Georgia (Jacksonville)
Nov. 3: MISSOURI
Nov. 10: LOUISIANA-LAFAYETTE
So if you use these over/unders to extrapolate a ranking 1-14 in the league here's what you get:
(Note: this is based on projected wins not the "best" teams. For instance, I believe Georgia is inferior to Alabama and Arkansas, but its schedule is better).
1. LSU 10.5
1. Georgia 10.5
3. Arkansas 10
4. Alabama 9.5
5. South Carolina 8.5
6. Auburn 8
7. Tennessee 7
7. Missouri 7
9. Miss. State 6.5
10. Florida 6.5
11. Texas A&M 6
12. Vandy 5.5
13. Kentucky 4.5
14. Ole Miss 4
I'm sure everyone agrees completely, right?
