Coyotes' Domi out indefinitely after hand surgery

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Arizona Coyotes general manager John Chayka announced Tuesday that second-year forward Max Domi had successful hand surgery and will be out of the lineup indefinitely.

Domi, second on the team with 16 points (5 goals, 11 assists), was injured in a fight with Calgary's Garnet Hathaway on Dec. 8.

Chayka said Domi is expected to make a full recovery and return to the lineup later this season, but there is no firm timetable.
