Coyotes prospect Max Domi completes hockey alley-oop

To give Arizona Coyotes fans a quick distraction from the team's six-game losing streak, we direct attention to London, Ontario, where Coyotes prospect Max Domi of the Ontario Hockey League's London Knights put together a breakaway that might hold as one of the most incredible goals of the year.

With Sarnia Sting goalie Taylor Dupuis coming out of the net to meet Domi, the Arizona prospect flipped the puck over Dupuis' head, skated around the goalie and redirected the puck in midair, right into the back of the net.

"I just saw it there and thought, 'Geez, I might as well try it,'" Domi told the London Free Press. "It just deflected over and luckily, it got over his head and kind of landed on my stick. It was pretty lucky, I guess, but I'll take it."

Dupuis could only go to Twitter after the 6-2 loss to the Knights and take the humorous approach by tweeting at Domi, "The least you can do is buy me a beer ..."

Domi, the 12th overall pick by the Coyotes in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft, told the London Free Press that he didn't think the goal ranked about his between-the-legs saucer pass against Portland back in 2013. It would seem that many people would beg to differ.
