D-backs' Lamb falls short in All-Star 'Final Vote'
Giants first baseman Brandon Belt and Blue Jays left fielder Michael Saunders were added to the National League and American League rosters for Tuesday's game in San Diego as winners of fan balloting in the Final Vote.
D-backs third baseman Jake Lamb was one of five NL candidates, but he failed to garner popular support despite having 20 home runs, 61 RBI and leading the National League with a .625 slugging percentage and a .996 OPS. Lamb entered Friday night's play ranked third in the NL in Wins Above Replacement (3.5 fWAR).

Saunders outpolled Astros outfielder George Springer, Tigers second baseman Ian Kinsler, Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia and Rays third baseman Evan Longoria in the AL voting.
