Dale Earnhardt Jr., Tony Stewart, others weigh in on Gateway fight night

It didn't take long for some NASCAR observers to take to social media to offer commentary on the fight that took place between Camping World Truck Series drivers John Wes Townley and Spencer Gallagher as the Drivin' For Linemen 200 neared completion early Sunday morning at Gateway Motorsports Park.

Some, such as Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s fiancee Amy Reimann, took the humorous approach.

Others, such as Dale Jr. himself, simply thought the whole thing was "ridiculous."

And of course tough-guy Tony Stewart enjoyed the way Townley handled himself in the scuffle, during which Townley eventually broke free from Gallagher's grip and got in several punches to Gallagher's facial area.

Take a look at a handful of their posts, including an additional one that might have summed it up best of all after the two drivers had wrecked each other twice on the night -- and after Townley, who is sponsored by Zaxby's (which was founded by his father), had crashed out of his third race in nine series starts this season.
