MADISON, Wis. -- Media members who attended Friday's Wisconsin basketball practice were treated to a full-court scrimmage that featured plenty of standout moments from players. But no player stood out more than Badgers forward Sam Dekker.

Dekker, a junior from Sheboygan, Wis., scored a team-high 18 points during the 20-minute half open to the media. He unofficially made 4 of 8 field goals, including two 3-pointers for Team White, which beat Team Red 80-71 over both sessions.

Dekker's final 3, a step back, came with one second on the shot clock and less than three minutes remaining. He scored twice on dunks, with one occurring on a baseline drive and the other a late alley-oop. He also drilled all eight of his free-throw attempts.

Dekker was joined on Team White by Bronson Koenig, Josh Gasser, Vitto Brown, Nigel Hayes, Jordan Smith, Matt Farris and T.J. Schlundt. Team Red consisted of Traevon Jackson, Duje Dukan, Jordan Hill, Zak Showalter, Frank Kaminsky, Riley Dearring, Ethan Happ and Aaron Moesch.

Happ, a freshman, showed poise in the paint and scored nine points on 4-of-5 shooting. He scored on a nice lefty turnaround early in the half,  converted an and-one and later registered a putback layup. Jackson paced Team Red with 11 points. Dukan added eight points with five rebounds and Kaminsky -- the preseason conference player of the year -- tallied seven points on 2-of-8 shooting with a game-high six rebounds.
