Despite limited chances, Wild's power play clicking
The calls haven't been going their way so far, but when the Minnesota Wild's power play has gotten opportunities, it's been cruising.
The Wild have converted six times on just 22 power-play opportunities this season, the fifth-highest percentage in the league.
No team in the league has faced stingier officiating this season -- the Wild rank last in the league in total power-play chances -- but Minnesota is one of just seven teams converting on at least 25 percent of their opportunities.
It's a major improvement for the Wild, who converted just 21 percent of the time last season.
