DETROIT (AP) -- Nick Castellanos has left Detroit's game against the New York Mets on Saturday night with a non-displaced fracture of his left hand.

Castellanos was hit by a pitch during Detroit's five-run fourth inning. He stayed in the game and came around to score, but the 24-year-old third baseman was taken out at the end of the inning.

Castellanos is hitting .286 with 18 home runs and 58 RBIs. The Tigers said the fracture was on his fifth metacarpal.
