Dez Bryant tells Mavs fans to lobby for DJ, Aldridge via social media
FRISCO, Texas -- Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant told fans at Dirk Nowitzki's Heroes Charity Baseball Game to get in contact with free agents LaMarcus Aldridge and DeAndre Jordan on Instagram and tell them to sign with the Mavericks.
The two-time Pro Bowler grabbed the microphone away from the emcee during an interview in between innings and implored the attendees to petition the two free agent centers through social media to sign with Dallas.

Both Aldridge and Jordan have ties to Texas, and their signing would be seen as somewhat of a homecoming. Aldridge, a graduate of Dallas Seagoville High School, informed the Portland Trailblazers on June 25 he would not return. Sources indicate the Knicks are interested in Jordan, who spent his freshman year at Texas A&M before entering the NBA draft.
