Dream come true: Young NASCAR fan heading to Richmond months after brain surgery

Eight-year-old Hunter Gooding couldn't attend last fall's race at Richmond International Raceway. The second grader was recovering from surgery to remove a tumor from his brain.

Now - healthy and back in school - the huge NASCAR fan will be getting a VIP experience this weekend at RIR, including pre-race pit access, infield access for driver introductions and the chance to deliver the opening message at the driver's meeting.
