Ducks star Corey Perry joins exclusive 'Triple Gold Club'
Corey Perry has entered an exclusive club.
With Team Canada's 2-0 win over Finland in the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship on Sunday, Perry is now a member of the 'Triple Gold Club' -- having also won a Stanley Cup (in 2006-07) and a gold medal in the Olympics (in 2010 and 2014).
Perry isn't the only player with Ducks ties on the list -- Scott Niedermayer made the list in 2004 while Chris Pronger joined in 2007.
It's a rather short list -- Perry is only the 27th member and the 10th overall Canadian on the list -- and one we're sure Perry will be honored to be part of when his playing days are over.
